Scotty McCreery

Artist Profile
Scott McCreery

Scotty McCreery made history in 2011 as both the first country artist and the youngest male artist of any genre to debut his first studio album, the Platinum-certified Clear as Day, at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.

His new album Seasons Change features his first-ever No. 1 hit, the Gold-certified Five More Minutes and his upcoming single “This Is It,” which describes how he proposed to his long-time girlfriend, now-fiancée. McCreery co-wrote all 11 songs on his new album, making it his most personal yet. He is also known for his hits “See You Tonight,” “Feelin’ It,” “I Love You This Big,” “The Trouble with Girls,” and “Water Tower Town.”

After first coming to national prominence in 2011 as the deep-voiced winner of “American Idol” Seasons 10, McCreery has sold nearly three million albums; achieved two Gold and three Platinum singles; earned ACM, BMI, and CMT Awards; and authored and released his first book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream.
