One-day event will help USO provide aid to America’s military service members through national pancake breakfast fundraiser
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® and Country Living magazine today announced “Flip It Forward Day,” a nationwide fundraiser to support America’s heroes and the United Service Organizations (USO). On Thursday, March 3, 2016, guests may join Cracker Barrel from opening until 2 p.m. at all 635 locations nationwide to lend their support by purchasing Momma’s Pancake Breakfast®. Cracker Barrel will donate 20 percent of the sales price for each sold, up to $50,000, to the USO.
“At Cracker Barrel, we are proud to be a trusted home-away-from-home for millions of guests and even prouder to honor the sacrifices of the men and women who keep our country safe,” said Cracker Barrel Old Country Store President and Chief Executive Officer Sandy Cochran. “With the support of Country Living, the first ‘Flip It Forward Day’ is an opportunity for guests to join us in supporting military families through our partnership with the USO while also enjoying a delicious country-style breakfast.”
Momma’s Pancake Breakfast features three freshly made buttermilk pancakes served with 100 percent pure natural syrup served warm, plus two eggs cooked to order and a choice of smoked sausage patties, thick sliced bacon, turkey sausage or turkey bacon.
“Flip It Forward Day” is featured in the March issue of Country Living, the definitive guide to the country lifestyle, on newsstands now.
