Welcome Back Through Our Doors

Pleasing People is our mission and it guides everything we do. This means striving to care for our guests and our employees like family.

We all continue to navigate through the current environment and do all we can to stay safe in these unprecedented times facing COVID-19. We've begun to safely - and in coordination with local and state direction - open our dining rooms and welcome guests back to the comforting and safe environment they've come to expect from us.

Like most all families, we believe that each of us has a role to play as we collectively do our part to ensure the health and safety of those around us.

Our commitment to you:

Team Member Safety

Employee health - Managers conduct a wellness screening with every employee at the start of every shift to ensure each employee has no symptoms before they start work. Each employee also has their temperature taken as part of this screening process. Additionally, a mid-shift screening is completed with every employee to ensure symptoms have not changed since the beginning of the shift.

Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting efforts - To make every guest feel right at home, we practice enhanced cleaning and disinfecting efforts at every store throughout the day. This is over and above our regular sanitation and cleaning protocols.

In addition, we are using wipeable menus or you can choose to view our menu from your mobile phone. We removed high-touch table items like salt & pepper and condiments, which are available by request only. While our iconic peg games aren't currently on our tables, we invite you to download our Cracker Barrel games app and enjoy the peg game from your mobile phone at any time.

Face coverings - We have provided all stores with masks and all employees will be wearing them.

Maintain social distancing - We are following all social distancing guidelines mandated by local ordinances. We are asking for a minimum distance of six feet between people. We have marked the floors and added signage to help guests and employees remember to maintain safe distances.

Our ask of you:

Social Distancing

Maintain social distancing - Just as we are following all social distancing guidelines, we ask you to do the same. Please keep a minimum distance of six feet between your party and others. This includes in checkout lines, shopping in the retail gift shop, on the front porch, etc.

Party sizes may be limited due to the pandemic, so please call your store for information on the table seating limit in your city.

On your visit, you may be greeted by our host on the front porch. If there's a wait, you can request to be notified via mobile phone when your table is ready (you can always check the wait time on our online wait list in advance of your visit). At the end of your visit, you can skip the wait and pay your check from anywhere in the store through our Pay In App.

Face coverings - When not at your table, you're strongly encouraged to wear a mask. We will strictly follow and enforce all local and state mandates where masks are required. In those locations where masks are mandated, we can provide one if you don't have one. Small children and those unable to wear one for health reasons are exempt.

Not feeling well? - If you're not feeling well, have a fever or are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask you to not enter the building. We have many convenient options including delivery services where you can still enjoy your favorite homestyle meal in the comfort of your home.

During these uncertain times, we understand guests want a safe, comfortable place that make them feel at home. This is the environment we strive to create and are focused on providing each and every day.

These are steps all of us can take to do our part to try to stop the spread of COVID-19. While the risk of infection cannot be completely eliminated as long as there is community spread, we appreciate our employees and guests working together to do what we can to keep us as safe as possible.

COVID-19 Safety and Service

You can check the status of your local store on our Store Directory. If your dining room remains closed you can still enjoy your favorite homestyle cooking from the comfort of home with our curbside, pickup and delivery options.

Our dining rooms will be reopened according to the guidelines of state and local officials and our own standards of excellence. This includes ensuring that we have the products and supplies needed to deliver a safe and enjoyable Cracker Barrel experience.

We're doing everything we can to offer guests a little comfort right now. That includes making sure that the health and safety of our guests and employees come first. On your visit you may be greeted by our host on the front porch, and if there’s a wait, you can request to be notified via mobile phone when your table is ready (you can always check the wait time on our online wait list in advance of your visit). We've also marked the floors and added signage to help guests and employees remember to maintain safe distances.

Many of the tables in our restaurants will be closed for seating to support social distancing.

Due to COVID-19, party sizes may be limited. Please call your store for information on the table seating limit in your city.

To make every guest feel right at home, we're practicing enhanced cleaning and disinfection efforts at every store. In addition, we are using wipeable menus and removing high-touch table items like salt & pepper shakers and condiments, which are now available by request only.

The peg games will not be back on our tables just yet, but we invite you to download our Cracker Barrel games app and enjoy the peg game from your mobile phone at any time.

Our enhanced cleaning and disinfection efforts at every store extend from the kitchen and dining room to the rocking chairs on our front porch.

Yes. Managers conduct a wellness screening with every employee at the start of every shift to ensure each employee has no symptoms before they start work. All stores have hand sanitizer available at the front door for guests and employees as they enter and exit.

There are several steps being taken to ensure a safe and sanitary payment process. You will notice plexiglass has been placed between registers, and floor signage has been put down to ensure guests and employees maintain six feet of distance. Trays will be provided to pass cash from guest to employee and back again. You can also choose to skip the wait and pay your check from anywhere in the store through our Pay In App.

In the event an employee has been confirmed positive, we have protocols in place to ensure the safety of those in the store and work closely with and take guidance from the CDC as well as local and state health authorities.

We never share the identity of an employee who tested positive, but we conduct our own contact tracing to notify all employees who may have been in contact with the individual based on that person's last day in the building and when he/she started exhibiting symptoms. Those employees who were in close contact, which is defined by the CDC, are asked to quarantine and are temporarily taken off the schedule.

If an employee has been confirmed positive, we coordinate with local health authorities and follow established protocols and CDC guidance to determine the appropriate course of action based on the facts of the particular case. We will not hesitate to close a store if the facts warrant or the health authorities believe this is the best course of action.
